Ford Mustang de 1968
Ford launched the Mustang in 1964 and created a whole new kind of car: the affordable, sporty “pony car.” By 1968 it had grown bigger and could be ordered with powerful V8 engines, including the new 428 Cobra Jet. That same year, a 1968 Mustang GT fastback starred in the famous car chase through San Francisco in the film Bullitt, which helped make this model year one of the best known of all.
